KHL CLUBS IN THE NEXT SEASON TOTALLY GET OVER 800 MILLION RUBLES FROM BOOKMEKERS

Starting from the 2022/23 season, KHL clubs will be able to independently conclude agreements with bookmakers, Metaratings.ru reports.

Now the clubs are actively negotiating with the leading representatives of the betting industry. Agreements have already been signed with some of them. For example, on September 21, Salavat Yulaev announced a four-year contract with one of the offices.

The average offer to KHL participants is approximately 35 million rubles per season. This information is confirmed by representatives of both clubs and the betting industry.

It is expected that 24 KHL clubs, if they all remain in the league, will receive a total of 800-850 million rubles from bookmakers next season. Moreover, market representatives believe that the amount could rise to 1 billion rubles due to more expensive contracts with the leading clubs in the league.
